バンコク最後の夕食はシェラトン内のタイ料理店へ。
翌日も比較的フライトが早いということと、こちらのシェラトンの飲料施設はレベルが高いと聞いていたので。
Level 1にあるレストランは照明が抑えられて、コンテンポラリーなデザインながらいたるところにタイらしい置き物などもあり、なかなかセンスがよい。
Basilの店名通りバジルなどハーブにこだわったお店のようだ。
まずは、アミューズにミアンカム。こちらのはやや甘め。
前菜には、レモングラスセットと名付けられた前菜の盛り合わせを。どの料理にもレモングラスが使われている。奥にあるサラダが美味しかった。
メインは海老のココナッツカレーとチキンカレーで。どちらもハーブの香り高くて絶品。
こちらはライスが白米、五穀米のようなもの、パンダンを練りこんだライスの3種類いただけるので、飽きることなく食べることが出来る。
デザートはマンゴーアイスとパンダンのクレープ。
確かにここはレベル高い。まあ、ワインを飲んだとはいえ、4,000THBというのはバンコクにしては高い感じもしますが。
